    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for trying &lt;a href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/459901"&gt;@IamNic&lt;/a&gt;, but that didn't help either.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've been on the Chromecast built-in TV app and cleared cache, cleared data, disabled &amp;amp; enabled, and it's still not worked.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've also uninstalled updates on the Chomecast built-in TV app and reset the TV, but that didn't work either.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;T&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;hen I tried force stopping the Chromecast built-in TV app, and it's still broken.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Finally I did another factory reset but that didn't even fix the problem this time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is left to try?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4 weeks ago the Google Cast icon stopped showing on my mobile apps, which meant I couldn't cast to the TV.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We realised this was due to an issue with the TV, which only a factory reset would fix.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The factory reset fixed the issue for about 1 week, but now it's back.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What's causing the issue, and how do we fix it?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;normally you can delete the cache of the Google Cast app on its won in your app settings.&lt;/P&gt;
