Connecting AKG bluetooth headphones to Sony KDL 32EX403 TV

I am trying to connect my bluetooth AKG Y45BT headphones to my sony KDL 32 EX403 TV.

I have purchased a bluetooth audio transmitter TaoTronics TT BA-07 and put that into the headphones jack of the TV.

I have put the transmitter in pairing mode and seems to pair OK with my headphones (at least there is the pairing beep I normally hear!)

However, no sound is coming out via the headphones, and it is still coming out from the TV speakers.

I feel there must be some setting I need to change on the TV itself so that it 'sees' the transmitter and/or headphones, but I don't know what it is.

Can anyone help?!

Hi,

Usually the sound should switch to the headphones when you insert a 3.5mm plug into the headphone out jack.

Can you please check it's fully plugged in?
