I have a sony tv XG81 43 inch. I have just got a years free apple TV subscription. It looks like Sony recently up dated the XG81 range to support and have the apple tv app on the tv, but only did if form the 55 inch upwards and did not include the 43 inch for the update.

Anyone know why the did not included the 43 inch and will the enable the XG81 43 inch to support apple tv ?

If not whats be best way for me to get Apple TV? i have tried casing and screen mirroring from my phone but this seems to be blocked

I dont want to have to buy something like a fire stick or apple tv box. As my tv has all the other streaming services app on it. I just cant get apple tv on it for some reason

Have you tried going to the Google Play Android TV Store to see if you can download the Apple TV app from there?

The applicable models for the latest update (v6.7140) do list all sizes and none of them have Apple TV support.
