Apps not working and Cast not working

My problem I'm sure is shared by others!

Periodically my tv player's ITV BBC player 4Od etc stop working and also so does my Ability to Cast from my phone etc.

Now the problem is easily fixed by doing a soft reset via the remote but I find this a total pain.

It's strange because the issue always happens after a good few days sometimes maybe a week.

I have tried clearing cashe etc which never seems to sort things out.

I always have to force the TV to restart to correct things..... Anyway any advice would be useful

Do you have the latest software version installed on your TV? When you say cache, are you referring to a specific app or the entire TV (Settings - Storage & Reset - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data)?

All I have done is clear the memory for the app itself but to me its not really going to help and yes I always update the firmware software etc... It's working not but you can guarantee in a few days it will stop working again
