Whenever I try to load BBC iPlayer on my Sony Bravia TV KD-49X8505B, I get the above message. I also get it when I try to load from Roku.

Can anyone tell me how to rectify, please.

The only known workaround is to restart the TV at the mains, then make sure to reduce the menu navigation to a minimum and to go straight to the program you want to play as soon as you open iPlayer. BBC have known about this issue with the app for a while.
