XH9505 Freesat issue

I have a 2020 XH9505, the software has updated and I have freesat as a tuning option, it tunes 100+ channels and the signal is good however when I try to watch a channel it says no signal.

I have also tuned the General Satellite which works ok.

anyone else having the same issue or do i need to disable the General Satellite.

Hi,

When you try to watch a satellite channel are you using the satellite channel list or maybe the analogue tuner.

Also, if the satellite signal is only good it might not be good enough. So maybe re-adjust the dish so you get a very good signal.

Thanks Peter,

After doing more research it appears the LNB is a Sky Q version so does not work with Freesat so will be swapping it out for a compatible one.

Hi @ankemps90 Have you considered buying a 4K Freesat recorder which works with a Sky Q Wideband LNB. You will be able to record 4 programmes at once.
