Yet another problem with my 55A90J, cannot sign into Apple tv, everytime I try it says verification failed before I get to put in user name or email. Have updated the app, cleared cache and data for the app, tried on wifi and ethernet and even tried factory rest all to no avail. Works ok on my firestick.

Hey fatboyz62, what's the software version on your TV? Press Help on the remote to get it. Also, did you try unplugging the TV from the mains for two minutes?

Yes, have unplugged tv, just gave up now, using firestick for another app instaed of tv.

Hey fatboyz62, I would say contact Apple, it doesn't seem an issue with the TV.

I have the same problem on a new XR-55A80J. I have updated .

Signed into Apple TV+ successfully on Android and Laptop. Plus iTunes using Apple ID and password.
