Help!!!! Remote Not Working

Hi,

I have a Bravia KD-65XF8505 that has been used very little (games room) and the remote no longer works.

Obvs I've replaced batteries but no avail.

Can anyone advise what is likely to be the issue here and, more importantly, the steps I need to take to resolve the issue?

Hi @lesrico

You could check with Sony or your Retailer to see if it is still covered by your warranty but it may be quicker to buy a replacement. You can always return it for a refund if you discover it is the TV and not the remote.

If you use a camera phone it will tell you if the remote is working by pointing the remote towards the lens. Hold down a button and you should see if it is transmitting a signal.
