Hello!

When I write ATV I’m referring to my Android TV. And GNM is referring to my Google Nest Mini.

My GNM and ATV is not working together as expected. Up until recently I could tell GNM to start any app on the ATV, and it would turn on the ATV and launch the app.

Now, if my ATV is turned off and I tell GNM to start an app, i.e Spotify or Netflix, it gives feedback saying “Surr, starting app X on TV”. But the ATV won’t respond or turn on. However if I then say “Ok Google, turn on TV”, then it starts and the requested app from the previous command is already launched.

If I ask GNM to launch YouTube, then the ATV will start up from standby and launch the YouTube app.

I can’t get my head around why it’s behaving this way. When it comes to troubleshooting I’ve spent the entire weekend with factory resent of all devices, resyncing my Google accounts and everything.

Best J

Hey kallestropp, what's the model number of your TV? Also, do you mean that only the pre-installed apps that work fine with the GNM?
