I personally think soundbars are a complete waste of money and time, but you need to find that out yourself. You certainly don’t NEED one, but the fact that you are asking the question means that you will probably get one. Just make sure you buy one with rear speakers.

Agree with you. But for 5.1 surround some soundbars give you the option of hooking up rear speakers wirelessly. Does the AG9 give you that option? Is there any way to do it without a soundbar?
