"available System Update" message shown on my E5

The message "System Update Available" is shown on the lock screen and in the taskbar. When i klick it it says the system is updated to the latest version.

How can I remove this message? All updates done and no errors shown.

Any idea?

try to connect your device to Xperia Companion and try to see if the update is available

Welcome to the community,

Do you get the same result when connecting to Xperia Companion via PC or Mac computer?

It is also good to note that, if you have less than 500MB internal memory available the handset will not allow an OTA update to occur.

Ok I tried to connect it to Xperia Companion. With "system maintenance" or "repair function" (I try to translate it from my german version ... I hope you know what I mean) I could solve the problem.

I did this before I read the other solutions so I can not say if clearing the cache would also have solved the problem.

All of you thanks for your help!!
