Xperia S galery bug

Hi,

Some strange pictures appear in the gallery but I dont know how to delete them. Every time i try to delete them the application crashs and is closed 🙂

Have you enabled auto sync ? i could be due to that

Try settings > applications > all > gallery > clear data and cache

Do you sync with Facebook, Picasa or similar?

Check by going to: Menu > Settings > Accounts & sync.

Hi, Thanks for your suggestions guys but none of them worked. I tried turnning off the facebook, picasa sync but without any results. I can't delete the photos 😞

go to settings -> applications -> running services stop most of the apps -> open the gallery app -> if those pictures re-appear -> settings -> applications -> running services it has to be an app acting up

Remove every account from auto sync and see if that helps

Settings > accounts and sync > selct/ facebook / google/ etc > menu button > remove account

Then see how it goes

I also get this on 2 pics that appeared in my gallery that I can find no way of removing!

Seems to be Whatsapp, Facebook inside Xperia, Twitter and Gmail

it's probably one of those apps that it's syncing those pictures.

look like you phone is picking up some pictures from one of your apps,

i had this problem with fifa 12 on my phone, you need to locate where the pictures are from and add a file into the folder called .nomedia

this will tell your phone not to put any pictures in that folder into your gallery,

i.e if it was in bc news app, go to the sd card on your phone and locate the folder for the bbc app and add a new folder called .nomedia

this worked for me on football manager, fifa 12 and bbc sport app,

its just poor app building from the developers,
