Screen memory/ghosting - temporary effect

The battery temperature was 30 to 32 degrees.

This is not a software flaw (tested several gallery applications and noticed during general use) or a camera flaw (what you see in the video is exactly the same in reality).

Can anyone explain the source of the problem and how can I fix this? Is this another yellow tint type problem of the screen?

I have not seen this before and I'm not able to replicate it on my Xperia S so I suggest that you have yours examined at an repair center. Contact your local support team for more information about local repair centers.

I was wondering if anyone who have yellow tint could try replicating this problem. I suspect that my phone might be from the same faulty batch.

Although I haven't seen anyone complaining about my kind of problem.

This is called transient image persistence, which can be seen sometimes when a bright image that was set against a dark background is replaced by a dark background only; this image retention is usually released once a typical-brightness image is displayed and does not inhibit the display's typical viewing image quality.

Since they are replacing the LCD panel free of charge with respect to the yellow tint problem, why don't you ask for a replacement too?

Couldn't get a better answer, thanks! It appears my phone indeed was from the yellow tint batch as when the weather in the UK got hot I started noticing the yellow tint effects. Since this was a contract phone, my network provider sent it to repairs free of charge.
