Problem with Xperia u after ics update

Hi Friends...... I am experiencing some issues after ics update

1-slow performance (hangs when I slide between menus or making selections):smileyplain:

2- Hangs when i am making phone calls/ incoming, messaging:smileyangry:

3- Low free ram 30 to 67 mb max.:smileyconfused:

4- unable to capture screenshot after update.:smileyconfused:

5- no message/ notification tones (it comes only for few days after update):smileycry:

I have updated my phone for at least 7 times......but no luck.:smileyangry::smileyangry:

I have always formatted my phone before update, with no backup ! I am not in a mood to give-up on this beautiful phone......please help

Thank you Rickard, i have read the posts.......it helps me a lot, i have disabled some of deafault apps and now my phone is running smooth as butter...

ye.. i had also faced the same problem.. the official ics released by xperia u do hab many bugs so better downgrade it to gingerbread. After downgrading it. the problem of freezing during incomming calls and imcoming message will be solved but the performace will be same as in the ics.
