Got a virus after VIBER installation from Google Market

Downloaded viber app from official Google market. Got a virus. AVG didnt see any viruses.

Market was deleted, gmail was disables. Always saying "Google Play services not compatible with your phone"

Be safe. Install Kaspersky. AVG is missed a virus. Flushed to factory default after data/sms backup.

@Brobddy Try to boot your device in safe mode then restart normally. Is that icon still there?

first things first, antivirus software on Android doesn't do anything useful. even if it somehow detected a malicious app, it can't remove it because of how Android works - an app can't remove another app without system permissions.

also, it seems to me that you downloaded an app that impersonates Viber, Play Store is unfortunately full of such apps and sometimes it's easy to fall for it. always make sure to check the name of the app publisher.
