Running Android 7.0. Had most recent Sony update. Was playing a game (DC Legends) when I received a phone call. Ringer sound was working, however when I answered the phone, I could not hear any sound from the earpiece or the speaker. My wife later said she couldn't here me either. I figured it was just a fluke and that everything was OK. Next morning my alarm on the phone did go off and I was able to hear it. Later in the day I wanted to watch YouTube video's and notced that the sound wasn't working. After doing the obvious things (cold shut down & start/ checking that the sound levels were on) I did run the diagnostics. Came up that the speaker phone/earpiece & microphone are no longer functioning. Only thing left was to do a reset, which I did last night. Still have the same problem. Ran the diagnostic on the reset phone and no sound from either speaker and the microphone isn't working. Does anyone have any other solution(s) for me to try?

If the problem is resolved then one of your installed apps is causing this issue and you have to figure out which one. Start by uninstalling those apps you installed recently.
