Charging port burning smell

I was charging my phone and it suddenly stopped. I took the cord out and noticed I slight burn odor on my phone and the cord. Another cord works but Will this get worse?

Really hard to tell, if it smells like burned plastic I wouldn't use it, you might want to get it inspected by your Local support

Hey LordQuas23,

i would defenitly go to a local repairservice and let check your phone of any issues with the battery.

Did you use the loading port and transfer cable from Sony or another cable/loading port?
