Hi ! I remmember one user had the same problem as you reported. Check in the menu options under applications . Take a look at the hotmail application and gmail application. See if there is any suspicious storage data that application use. If the application use a lot of data you can clear thoose data. facebook can be moved to sd card also. If you have updated facebook amny times, I reccomend to uninstall updates from facebook and then install the fresh one through google play. You shoud gain some storage space. I use app2s free to clear storage cache and to see which applications can be moved to sd card. You can use es file explorer that comes with storage analyzier if you want.

Also web browser could take a lot of space that fill the cache. Some web browsers can store the cache directly on the sd card.

Sometimes unninstalling the updates on thoose applications that cannot be unninstalled, and installing the latest update only could help to gain more storage.

Do not update office suite viewer 6 (it takes a huge space). Also the latest google map take a lot of space (if you have problem with space just skip the update).

Remember that altough you can move various applications to sd card they still take a portion of space on the phone, so better to remove the applications that you will not use or don't need.

Hope this helps. Keep us informed

About ICS.... if you don't want to wait because nobody can tell you when it will available, you can manualy update it by flashing it to newest ics. I have done this 3 months ago. If the update appears update it via SUS and select factory rest + update (this is very important). Backup your data first (phone data).

Hi,

I have an Xperia mini pro which still runs on Android 2.3.4 . I keep getting the message that my phone is running low on memory. As a consequence, it will not do certain app-updates (like facebook) and seems to be running slower each time. I have a 16 GB sd card installed so I should have plenty of memory. I moved all APPS which can be moved to the SD card.

I have tried un-installing various apps but this does not seem to help. I have cleaned the cache and re-started the phone several times, but it all makes no difference.

What can I do? Will the update toICS (whenever this will be available for my phone) fix this? Do I need to do a phone repair?

Dear Members,

I have bought recently Xperia Pro with internal memory 1 gb, Although only 350 is usable and half of it is occupied by non-deletable programs. So in the end I have only 100 mb free space left.

Your advice is very helpful but nonetheless it would not solve the problem but only delay it. I have done the same thing but after time with necessary updates the storage is getting filled.

And here it comes! I cannot download any program that is greater than free space in my internal storage (i.e. nothing greater than 100 mb in this case).

There is a nice solution of this problem thanks to Link2SD.

However it requires a little sacrifice of rooting the device... and with it the Warranty is going literally "Puffffff'" and ruined.

Dear Support Service what should I do?

It seems like some kind of teasing: There is an apple on the tree - the solution of your problems but in any circumstances do not eat it...

Hi, after your response, I remover the office suite viewer from the phone as I was not using it anyway and it could not be moved to SD. I also uninstalled the Moxier pro (http://short-world.de/en/tech/introduced/item/92-what-is-moxier-pro) as this is not needed either. I now have 80 MB free again, which is enough for the time being: at least I can update the other apps again and do not get this annoying error message anymore. I will wait for the ICS update to finally arrive to see if that will help.

Thanks!

While downloading English Dictionay Offline I got an error. "There is insufficient space on the device". Most of the applications downloaded are on my SD card (32 GB) & only system applications are on the phone memory. How can I download additional applications, if my phone memory is limited?
