Hi All

I have Xperia Neo V with the company installed OS (GingerBread ). Two months ago is has been installed with around 40 apps. Then I realized that it's getting slower due to big number of apps. Then I did a factory reset. But surprisingly it got much slower than before. after a few days I did factory reset again but that doesn't help at all. Now I have just 8 apps installed on my phone. and it's much slower than when I have been installing more than 40 apps.

Do you think factory reset is the real culprit or some else is causing the problem.

Hi sunil_xperia:)

Heard that your phone is slow, you said that you had 40 apps and u did factory reset and worst part is still you are not able to use same as normal.

Confirming it

you did factory reset and now the phone is slow??

is it phone or the apps you are using is slow??

(Then reason I am saying to format files coz there are chances of getting virus into memory card in case if you are using bluetooth more often! that might cause a problem.)

after formating memory card then go forward and do factory reset for the last tym, put it back and check this might work for you.

Things I suggest

About My Phone

Neo V

got 12 mnts back, came with GB and upgraded to ICS 431- 8 months before, again upgraded to 587 day before.

Condition now: absolutely fine, I suggest other neo V users to upgrade to 587.

Note

try 587 software update, i guess that will fix all the problems you have ,you can read my other discussion.

Manjuboyz:)

Hello manjuBoyz

Yes, I did factory reset and Phone is deadly slow.

Phone and apps both are very slow. When I select the contacts and then call to any contact then connecting will display in 4-5 seconds. Same happens with msg. Earlier was not the same case. prior to factory reset it was very responsive. I got the responses instantly. whenever I exit an app then all the contents will disappear from home screen then one by one they will come to appear.

Yes, still am using GB.

Thanks,

Sunil Kumar

Hi

usually GB musn't do like that!! I dunno what is happening , now in this scenaio its better upgrade to 587, i am using on my neo v so no problem with that, or you want you can just stick around with that itself,

regarding contacts 431 was doing same(2 sec) to open up,after upgrading to 587 now its fixed and it opens within 1 sec:):)

I suggest to upgrade that might be the way to solve this.

Hope this works.

Manjuboyz:)
