Hey, I have month old Xperia SP
Since beginning it was all good, but afer the week or so problems started with some apps (to be specfic chrome, facebook & facebok messenger, instagram) they just shutting down while in use. It's really frustrating while typing a message or something when suddenly app is shut down.
I'm keepin almost 50% free RAM all the time
Cache is being cleared daily

phone is not rooted, no suspicious apps are installed

5GB of memory is still free
OS: 4.1.2

any suggestions/help?
Thank You

Start your phone in safe mode and try to use Chrome and Facebook. If it works better the problem is probably caused by some app you have installed in your phone.

http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008#U348008

If you are experience the same problem in safe mode I suggest that you try to update/repair the phone software using PC Companion:

Same problem here. I think the SP cant handle 3rd party apps... it just works fine while in safe mode.

Or I dont know, but there is a problem with the RAM management.

http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-SP/Xperia-SP-RAM-management/m-p/385053#U385053

Have the same problem and it makes me really crazy. Tried safe mode, tried PC companion, it didn't help... Moreover, phone is very slow, gets frozen. Can't wait to the end of the contract....5 months. Problems started 4 months after buying. 2 years contract..
