my x10 freezes atleast 5 times a day

my x10a freezes atleast 5 times a day while watching movie or playing games. sometimes it restarts itself when its turned back on after it freezes. i have tried re installing android but it still does that, anyone have idea how to fix?

so you already re-install Android 2.1 or are you still running 1.6?

most likely if you already have android 2.1 it's due to some app that you have, are you running an videogame emulator?

Have you followed uliwooly's advice? How much stuff do you have on the phone? It might get a bit shaky if its memory is close to full.

uh yes, thats y i sad "still" freezes.

and i have plenty left on sd card, plus that should be the issue for freezing so much even after reinstalling the os.

all i do is use mediascape and watch a movie, and while playing the movie or any clip the phone would just freeze.

and no i did not install any non market app, im too much of a pussy to gamble my expensive crappy phone for that kind of stuff.

i've exactly the same problem

in mediascape (with 40 pictures), it crash

it frrezes, and reboot, sometimes in loop during 4 or 5 reboot...

it freezes also when i browse contact or use gps, but not each time

you're phone is rebooting ?

I only get the same problem if I try to use "SMS Backup" app and I try to backup more than 1500 texts, but that's the only app that does that to me, maybe your motherboard its faulty and you need to take it to SE so they can replace it. Sorry.

After updating the phones software, did you restore a backup first thing?

Please try to to the reinstall/repair once more and once you've done this - do not restore any backups for a while and see if you can force the same issue.

If the issues still occurs, I suggest you talk to your dealer and ask them to send the phone to a repair center.

Just use a custom user created ROM...SE's stock rom sucks anyway. I get at least double the performance by usinga custom rom, and I never have any issues anymore.....one word....CYANOGEN!!!!!!
