Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Did you restore any back up after you performed a software repair? Or installed any applications?

You can always try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if you experience the same behaviour:
http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008

Hi,

My Xperia T LP30 has a strange issue... The power button will not wake up the phone or sometimes does wake but with 20-30 seconds lag and also does not send the phone back to lock screen when I'm done!

I can wake my phone by using the camera button and it wakes fine if I am called etc...

Also it times it appears like the power button is being pressed when I am nowhere near it... I can be using the phone and suddenly the little power off / airplane mode window will appear constantly as if the power button is being pressed repeatedly.

Any ideas? ... I have done the full SUS reinstalls etc so pretty sure it's not a software glitch

Thanks for any help.

Okay, in this case I suggest that you visit nearest service center so a technician can examine your unit. You can contact your local support team for information about nearest service center and/or how to proceed with this in the best possible way:
http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/contact-info/
