Miracast: No sound

I'm not getting any audio when mirroring my screen through a Rocketfish RF-WFD301 Miracast dongle. All other device I have tried (Google Nexus 5, LG G2, Samsung Galaxy S4) are working fine.

All latest updates installed (4.4.2).

I have a similar problem with an Experia Z3 and Panasonic TV. The video works but the sound is muted.

Same problem here. Z3 to Samsung TV. Used to work fine with my Galaxy S3

Wait!!!! Just updated my TV software and now I have sound and vision!!!!

Not all of us can update the TV software, though. Plus, it happens with different TV brands (i.e. the two thing we all have in common are the Rocketfish Miracast dongle and the Sony Xperia line of mobile devices, but since the former works fine with every other brand, the latter obviously **bleep**).

I'm not using a dongle so will look into updating the TV firmware. Maybe the dongle needs a SW update?
