Walkman resets during USB connection

Hello. When I connect my phone to computer via USB (using MSC mode to get SD memory access), Walkman resets and looses information about curently played file (file is located on SD). This is especially frustrating when one listens to audiobook/podcast. The same issue afflicts Walkman gadget. The only solution is to get rid of gadget and always remember to close the app before connecting phone to computer.

Phone: Xperia E1 dual SIM (D2105), Android 4.4.2 (all patches installed).

Don't know if someone can help with this?

If you connect it to your Pc etc in MTP mode then it will switch to data transfer mode - You could try changing this to MSC mode - Settings then Xperia connectivity - USB connection mode

Sorry, it seems to me actually your solution doesn't fit too well to my problem I already use MSC mode. The problem is with resetting Walkman (and Walkman gadget) during such connection. Don't know how does it work during MTP mode, though.
