Xperia M C1905- Software update

Hello the team,

I just bought a Sony Xperia M and at the first start-up, the p^hone ask me to update the Android Software.

I downloaded the PC Companion 2.1, I followed the different steps to update the software, but I'm stopped at the step where you have to connect the USB plug to the phione with the volme down button.

Nothing is coming and I can't go to the next step.

Below the screenshot where I'm stopped.

Anybody can help me ?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Make sure that your phone is completely OFF, you can remove the battery to make sure it is. Press and hold the volume down(-) before you connect the USB-cable and keep hold the volume down(-) until PC Companion goes to the next step. If you still are unable to update, try different USB-ports.

Thanks for you answer.

But it doesn't works.

I executed the same procedure for another Sony equipment (Tablet Z), but the same result.

I tried to change the USB port, but without result.

I'll try with another PC...
