Has anyone ever been able to actually get any help from SONY? My tablet won't charge, won't switch on even when connected to the mains by the sony charger and when try to load it up to the PC via their C companion, it doesn't recognise it?

They sent me an alleged step by step guide but requires to be worked through sony pc companion, the thing that I can't get it to find my device on.

Now can't even get through to them by phone. £350 wasted. Going to have to sue them I think.

You should force your tablet to turn off:

http://userguide.sonymobile.com/referrer.php?region=global-en&product=xperia-tablet-z#!Turning-on-or-off-the-device---heading-only.html

After that,do not turn it on.Go to PC companion support zone and click on update. There should be a message to repair.Follow the steps provided.

It should first detect the device for the repair process to be done. Also, the tablet needs more than 2 hours of charging.

In this case, you have to contact your local sony team and take the tablet there.

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Have you tried this

This will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)

Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

I have a Sony Bravia kdl-40xbr9, when I turn it on it shows no picture or sound , the green light and Sony logo turn on normally. When I take the power cord out and put it back again , the Bravia sign and back lights turn on for five seconds and then the screen goes black again .
I already tried changing the G6N (power board?) and the CT2 (tycon board)
Before it went black , the tv used to show the warming up sign on the screen and never showed the tv info .. Time, channel etc , I would have to disconnect it from the wall for the tv to work normally again.
