Already went through the process of reloading program as a result of the shoddy engineering of sony products. When I get notifications, and sometimes out of the blue I will be told that earphone is connected no earphone is connected. Phone won't ring when this happens. Have to power off and restart. Do not expect this from a quality product, whoops that quality thing leaves Sony out. Have tried Twitter no help.

Make it simple refund my money and let me go get a phone from a responsible company. Right now Sony is beneath GM when it comes to integrity. When do I get my money back?

Hi Neveragain,

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Have you tried any troubleshooting with the device? you could try clearing the Smart Connect app data to see if this helps with the random ear phone issue.

Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Smart Connect > Clear Data.

If this continues to fail, you could always try a software repair on the device, as this may be related to third party software or a bad update installation.

Be sure to backup your content first using PC Companion.

1. Download the PC Companion software from PC Companion and install it on your PC.

2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

3. Phone Software Update.

4. Start.

5. Repair Phone

6. Continue

7. Accept data removal

8. Next

9. Wait for prepare

10. Select Phone

11. Follow the connection steps

i hope this helps.
