Camera flash not working

I am using this phone for about 1year, an had a good experience with it. Since late I am facing a problem, the LED Flash is not working both in "auto mode" or in "always on mode", But when am switching to "Torch mode" its working fine. Can anyone please help me to sort it out. I had done "Factory Reset" twice but still its not working.

Try booting to safe mode and see if that helps

I can't be sure but I think you have HDR mode on which disables the Flash

I just tested it on Z1,L and SP.The flash could still be iniated.

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

This does seem like a strange one, it is possible that this is related to the handsets software however. I suggest doing a backup and attempting a software repair on the device.

1. Download the PC Companion software from PC Companion and install it on your PC.

2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

3. Phone Software Update.

4. Start.

5. Repair Phone

6. Continue

7. Accept data removal

8. Next

9. Wait for prepare

10. Select Phone

11. Follow the connection steps
