On my Sony Xperia M2 Aqua I suddenly wasn't able to turn of the screen lock, therefore I switched the phone of hoping it would help. When I started I up again I noticed that I was not able to enter any of the numbers between 4 and 9, when I needed to enter pin code. the screen seems to respond well on 1-3 and over and on 0 and enter, as well it can take pictures and movie when I switch to camera.

I have tried to enter safe mode, but still the same area do not respond.

I have taken the sim card out when the phone is on and put it in again, no change.

And I have both been holding the off button under sim card under display as well as holding power and volume + button.
Still nothing seems to work.

Last thing I used my phone on was turning alarm on slumber few mins before the problems started, and it have been in my pockets all day.

Any other tips? PC Companion dont work becase I can't enter PIN

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

This is before you send it into repair.
