Timeshift video does not work

Hi

I've he'd this annoying problem fora few months now and have yet to find a solution.

I am unable to open a timeshift video for editing. The time shift video option appears in the camera app and it records a 120f video. However, there is no option to open the time shift editor, which I used to be able to do when I first purchased the phone.

Searching online I found this solution which suggest removing the latest version of Movie Creator will help.

However this does not work for me. I only see one version of movie creator in my apps (version 3.1.A.1.0). I tried doing "uninstall updates" on movie creator but this does not help.

I thought upgrading to Android 5.1.1 would fix this but sadly not.

Does anyone have a solution? This was one of the best features of the Z3 camera and it's annoying that I can no longer use it.

Just to clarify, after recording a timeshift video you don't have the option to edit the video?

No. I can see the timeshift option and record a video, but when I open it in Album, none of the timeshift editor options (e.g. the timeshift slider) are there.

Which android version do you have?

could you open the video with the Video app instead of the album app

I'm using Android 5.1.1. I've tried opening the movie in the Video app and I don't see the timeshift controls there either.

When you select the video > you should see the video editor icon on the top right side (the clapboard icon)

which video app version do you have?

Video version is 9.3.A.0.4. I don't se a clapboard in top right, just a Dropdown menu with various options eg information, throw, Share, etc...

I think is lollipop issues,it probably help if you change data storage into internal storage not SD card. Try that

Hi all. Ive just tried it in safe mode and setting storage to internal storage. I'm both cases this doesn't change anything (in either album or videos). thanks.

I've tested this with a Z3 running the latest update and I can't recreate your issue, neither on the SD card or internal storage

Even I'm suffering with same problem! I can record the video and then I'm able to edit the raw footage but after editing I'n not able to see the timeshift video i.e., the video which I've edited after recording. I can only see the Raw video.
