Which applications are you using when you are seeing this issue? If it is the native Video app, have try using Throw rather than screen mirroring. Here are some details on how to do that:

Dear community,

I have a Z5 Compact and a Sony Bravia TV (new generation). Setting up screen mirroring works great. However, when I try to play videos on the phone/TV, the performance is very bad. Basically, I cannot watch films without severe interruptions.

Is screen mirroring not meant to stream video? What could be the issue?

Both the TV and the Phone are connected to a wireless router (from Apple).

Thanks!

Dear John, thanks! Will "Throw" just work with media (pictures, videos) or can I mirror whatever I like - for instance games?
