Anyone solved problems with "dead" pixels? My screen is totally fine, no signs of any problems. But there's an unresponsive invisible column that goes from the top to bottom, right through the u j and n keys (I've had to go landscape just to type those letters).
Using an app called Yet Another Multi Touch Test shows this irritating mystery column.
I've no idea why this has happened, it was perfect yesterday, didn't get wet or dropped anything.

Is there a solution?

You could repair the phoen with PCC but I'm not sure if it'll make a difference

PC Companion (PCC)

Alternatives on How to backup Xperias

If it works fine when you test the touch screen in Diagnostics then I would go with uliwooly's suggestion and perform a software repair using PC Companion.

Tried the software repair on the PCC but it hasn't made any difference.
The strange thing is that the invisible column stops before the space bar!? Everything else above it to the top of the screen doesn't work but the space bar does!?
I wish there was a way to reset the screen, if that makes any sense.
