MMS failure

Hello

I can't send or receive MMS.

In my mms settings it's on automatic mode for downloading.

If I turn Wi-Fi on it doesn't work.

Any ideas on what doesn't work?

Hi @nad13, welcome to our forum!

I'm sorry to hear about that.

If you haven't downloaded the internet and MMS settings in your phone I'd recommend that you start with doing that. You can do so if you go to Settings > More > Internet settings.

You will receive a notification when they have been downloaded and installed, reboot your phone and try sending an MMS to your own number. Can you both send and the receive the MMS now?

Was the download and installation of the internet settings successful?

If they installed without any troubles, do you get any error messages when sending an MMS to yourself, for example that the message is in queue and will be sent later?

You can also add the APN settings that you need to send MMS manually in your phone. I'm afraid I won't be able to provide the correct settings to you since it's your operator/service provider that handles these settings.

If you have a friend, family member or colleague with a SIM card with the same size as you have, could you please ask them if you can borrow their SIM card and see if you are able to send an MMS?

Ask your carrier to sms you a configuration sms. It should set it up automatically when received

Hello

The download and installation of the internet settings successful But MMS are still impossible to send or receive....

When i try to send there's an error message under the picture i try to send : impossible to send.

When someone send me a mms, i receive a text from my supplier that i have a mms and need to connect to my client account to consult it. So no picture receive.

I try to change manually APN settings of my supplier. But it doesn't work.

My group text are also block, i can't send !!!

I also done the up date of my phone, just in case... But it did not fix the problem.

I don't know what to do...

Like @NeoBeum mentioned, have you ever been able to send MMS with your current contract from your service provider?

If you haven't tried with another SIM card yet that would be my recommendation, to see if your SIM card is the cause of you not being able to send MMS.

Yes i was able to send mms before and from one day to the next it doesn't work anymore.

I try to change sim card but for the moment i haven't found someone with the same sim size....

Hello again!

While you are waiting to get a hold of another SIM card in the same size as you have you could try sending a MMS from a different application to see if you are able to do that for example, Google messenger that you can download from Google Play store.

If you live close to a store that your service provider have, or a store that sells phones with your service provider you should be able to go there and ask for a new SIM card.

Good luck with finding a SIM card that fits in your phone and have a nice Thursday!

Hello again!

When you send photos or files with Whatsapp you aren't using the MMS feature that your network provider provides so that is why that is working and not MMS messages.

Let us know how it works with a new or different SIM-card!
