Tap registered as swipe.

Hi. I have a little issue with my touchscreen. Quite often when I tap a screen it just registers as a swipe and when browsing Internet it gets very frustrating, when page just moves up or down.
Does anybody has some similar issue, or it's just me?

Hi @Goga,

How long has your phone behaved this way? Do you know if this started after doing something specific? Have you noticed any pattern as to when this happens with the display?

First of all, are you using any display protector or similar? If possible, try removing this to see if there is any change. I'd also recommend you test the display in Diagnostics, found under Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Display. Are you able to clear the entire surface?

As well as testing the above, try rebooting your phone to safe mode. Is there any change to how the touchscreen reacts then?

I'm not using any display protection. In tests everything is fine. Mostly this happens with two fingers taping a screen in those taping games, so it could be more related to multiple finger recognition. That's just my opinion.

It's also possible that what you are experiencing is related to the display or your finger being wet. Try cleaning the display using a microfiber cloth.

I have the same issues. It is a problem with the phone. No other thing Sony. Fix it already. Swiping to type. Double taps, triple taps, taps when trying to scroll etc. My god this phone is such a pain to use. it's so frustrating and I know im not the only one.
