please do noy buy x10 slowest phone in the earth

If any wants to buy please do noy buy x10, this is the slowest touch scrren phone available in the market.

Opearing system is very slow in response and the touch scrren response of phone is not so good.

8 mega pixel camera is worst. before I was having K800i, in that phone 3.5 MP camera much better than 8mp camera of X10.

I am realy upsate about the phone. it just waste of money if you are buying this phone.

I did waste my money but I am requesting you people do buy this phone.

if somebody call if it realy dificult find main menu so operating phone is no so easy.

I think you must have a different X10 from mine...! It will take some getting used to, like any new device. I hope it grows on you.

Your mobile is nothing like mine either. It was a big step up from mobiles I have owned in the past but it is a fantastic phone, when you get used to it.

Come on then admit it what phone do you really have because it isn't an x10i, Camera is good, response time it good

if you look on any other forum relating to Samsung, Motorola etc there are plenty of people that are not happy with their phone

if you dont like it take it back to the shop

There are so many ways to research a smart phone. With the Internet I could have all the information I needed about any high tech device within no time. With that in mind, why have so many people bought a phone that they do not like? This smart phone is solid with features I use everyday for making my day to day life easier. What more could I ask Sony to do? If this Xperia X10 is not what you expected please return or sell it and buy something that makes you happy.:smileyhappy:

Slowest Phone!!!!!! Can you say a phone, which has more touch responsiveness than X10?

Many issues have been reported of X10 but slow speed and bad camera quality are new. Make sure that you own Xperia X10.

Operational difficulties are there for all phones. You need to get used to it to become familiar. To me X10 Mini Pro is the best smart phone I have ever used. Xperia X10 is far more superior to X10 Mini Pro. So why can it be the worst.

Whatever, I love my x10 more because there's no way I would get my $$$ back! Kidding aside, DONT BUY X2 instead! Believe me, it's the worst phone I ever got.. Anyway, who wants to buy x2, Im selling it out...? Nah, I got use to it so, I love my x2 as well...

For some reason you've not come back to reply which would suggest that you just wanted to vent yr spleen and not back it up with any kind of rational discussion... hmmmmm.. as someone said - dont you just love these rants...

Thank you very much for your 'nice' comment, it sort of triggered some of our urge to boast about our X10. It might not be the best phone on earth but still a great phone (to me). Sad to say, you have come to the wrong place, definitely not the X10 community!!!! Oh ya, thanks again for uniting the X10 community. Objectively speaking, the X10 is not the fastest phone on theplanet, I've seen many benchmarks, and it's around the middle: just below average out of the box, and above average when optimised with tweaks.

Having said that, I never experienced 'slwoness' as a user experience: not in any aspect of speed:

- screen response to touch commands, glides and scrolls is instant and very responsive, making the experience intuitive and enjoyable

- processing speeds are sufficient, even for demanding tasks like image editing computations - you will see the 'timer' rotating circle form time to time, but only for a couple of seconds (nothing like Windoze endless waits on a PC : )

- download speeds are consistent with network performance and as good as any other make/model of handset. In well covered areas Android makes best use of HSPA on 3G and the only slow-downs are in localities with network congestion (too many smartphones concentrated ina mall or business park - but then they all suffer, not just the X10)

- charging speeds are consistent with contemporary battery technology and most other makes and models

- what other speeds do w know of?

I really haven't experienced anything to make me unhappy with 'middle of the league' (by benchmarks) and not the very top. For what matters to the user it's a very fast phone.

Mods: This demented sad post may have triggered a lot of positive comments in defence, but in the end everyone quotes the negative title (even the most positive posters), and it gets repeated time and time again. You know how search engines work: titles have greater weight tnan body text, and repeated phrases bring pages up in ranking.
