screen issue

Not sure if this is a hardware issue or not but when I change a wallpaper or put a new theme on, half my screen flickers when I press the home button. It only happens when I come out of an app or messaging etc when I press the home button.
Why is this?

It could be an app acting up, do you have a notification app? taskiller? task managers?

No I don't have any of those

So I'm not sure why it's doing it

Iv just deleted a backgrounds app that I downloaded yesterday & the problem is solved thank you

hi people, so this morning my xperia z1 compact started acting weird... the screen kept going on and off many times as i pushed the power button and would not let me it... after 5-10 second it completely went off... tried to power it back on and nothing happens--- charged it, connected it to PC companion but it could not detedt it... freaking out here, any one with a solution?--- please share...
