UK BBC iplayer issue

Does anyone have a issue when watching a downloaded programme from BBC iplayer?

The programmes download fine, but when I watch them, it plays for about 6 seconds, freezes for 2 seconds and the plays, but continues this process all through the programme. Also when closing down iplayer it does not close properly and just hangs. Very frustrating and I have never had this issue on any other android phones.

I've checked all my settings and all looks OK.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

UPDATE...I have been watching a few things downloaded from BBC iplayer and it now seems to be working fine, i guess Sony may have done something or maybe the iplayer gremlins have left my phone.

No its not and HTC issued a fix for the M8, any chance of Sony doing the Same?

Yes, you are correct, it does do what iplayer states, which is play normally for about the first 30 minutes and reverts back to freezing etc.

I do hope Google sorts this out, as this is adding to the things I don't like about Sony and the Z3.

May get to the stage of me ditching it and going back to a Nexus 5.
