      <description>Most of the time my doesn't support earphone that i got along with phone, we needed to restart phone to support it..sometimes later same problem will come again.please try to improve your software support.</description>

      <description>Disable smart connect. Go to settings&amp;gt;apps&amp;gt;all&amp;gt;smart connect and disable it. I also had this issue with my headset.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If this is the same problem as I am having, I contacted Sony and the rep first got me to go through a full software repair etc and then said it was a hardware fault and I should send it in for repair - which could take several days - without a phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The problem I have is that every now and then when I plug my earphones in (have tried several&amp;nbsp;earphones) the sound continues to play through the phone speaker - it will not come through the earphones.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As soon as I shutdown and restart the phone all is OK and sound will come through the earphone each time I plug them in. I can unplug and plug back in and it continues to work - until next time - which could be the same day or after several days. Once again, as soon as I reboot it starts working fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried killing apps / services etc when it stops working but it makes to difference - the only way to fix is reboot - which clearly points to a software / firmware issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Sony support rep I spoke to just could not understand this concept and insisted it must be a hardware issue - she could not grasp that rebooting a phone does not fix a hardware issue!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey nowfal,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It might be worth trying the following next time you get the problem...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Menu &amp;gt; Settings &amp;gt; Apps &amp;gt; All &amp;gt; Smart Connect &amp;gt; Clear Data&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It appears to have worked for another person on my thread - but the Smart Connect was already disabled on my phone - so not sure if the above is going to help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it does work for you please post back here.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I also have this problem with my phone sometimes, I think realy input jack have a problem or maybe an application problem. When it happens in the car is a problem because you have to manipulate the phone while you are driving with obviusly risk.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I had the same problem when I bought my Z1C and plugged in its earphones. They were not "seen" by the device and the sound was played by the speaker. I tried everything and was really frustrated, until I searched google and found the solution in a forum. I pressed the button of the earphones (the one for answering incoming calls and starting walkman) and walkman started playing through the earphones! Since then I didn't have the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This may help...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I upgraded to Lollipop yesterday and the problem still persists.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Turning Smart Connect on and off seems to fix the problem but it is happening more frequently than before.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Normally I would not encounter this issue in the first 24hrs after a phone reboot - but yesterday it even happened in the first hour after a reboot!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi.. that's my longtime problem (almost for six months). I have just realized this forum and that others have this problem too. My phone (z1 c.) and my earphones (not the supplied one but another) doesn't match most of time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My earphones work on any device and any earphone work on my phone. But my phone and earphones doesn't match although both are original sony product. On the other hand, the problem appeared just one day, not from the very beginning.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rarely they match and those times I try to fix the cable and not to move it anyway. Only then the sound comes but a slight movement of the cable of the earphones make the trouble again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am really tired of it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
