keyboard did not pop up while on call.

I recently updated my xperia z2 to lolipop 5.0.2
And whenever i am on the phone talking to someone, sometime i need to write down the instuction or things that mentioned on the phone by writing it down on my phone... But i am no loger can open my keyboard while on phone... Not just on my notes app... Even my messaging apps and sms too... Its annoying while i dont have pen and pencil while i trust my phone to keep d note... Please help

Welcome to the community,

This could be an issues with the current keyboard, you could try clearing the data for this app.

Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Xperia Keyboard > Clear Data

Once done try testing. Let us know how you get on.

Sorry jake. It wont help. It just getting worst now. the go back button cant function at all when i am on the phone call... Now i having 2 issue, the keyboard wont pop up and go back button not functioning. Can get any help or perhaps do some minor updates to get rid of this problem?

Thanks alexdon. Sorry coz i did not noticed your reply before. By the way thanks jake for providing me help too. It solved d problem now. But i cant use d smart key anymore.
