Priority mode issues

Hi. I am having problems with priority mode after my update to 5.1.1.

Before the update it functioned perfectly.

I now have issues with it not turning on my interruption settings and it also jumps the sound volume slider so almost nothing when I switch on interruptions once the priority mode activates.

I have it set to come on a bit after I go to sleep and turns off before o wake up.

I have had it set up to only allow starred contacts to ring and notify through. This used to work perfectly for calls, text messages and third party app, watsapp.

No the timer manages to work but it comes on with interruptions toggle flipped off. I then flip it on and have to check the volume slider which jumps to almost silent.

Please help me sort this out.

Can you check if it works on on safe mode.

How to boot on safe mode on Lolipop
1. press and hold the power key
2. once you get the pop up menu
3. press and hold "power off"
4. Boot on safe mode should become available

Hi. Tx for the reply.

Safe mode made no difference. It started according to the time schedule set but interruptions were off. I then had to go into the volume setting and pull up ring tone and media volume to full where is should have been and then turn on interruptions myself.

A secondary issue is that safe mode removed some of my widgets and app shortcuts. Is this normal? If so please advise people that this will happen.

Safe mode will disable third party apps, restart the phone, it will restore the apps.

I ascertained to restart the phone. That did not restore all widgets and shortcuts. Hence why I mentioned it.

Anyone else have any advice on how to restore priority mode to function as it should?
The timer part works but the interruptions toggle stays off even though in sound settings I turn it on.
I have to wait for my timer to activate priority mode and then toggle interruptions to on.

I've managed to solve my problem.
For some reason the toggle allowing interruptions is reversed. If I turn it off I get the 🌟 and interruptions as assigned volume through.
