Hi,

I have purchased my Sony for only a couple of days. I am wondering if my Sony Z5 Compact can do sound recording? I have looked through it but couldn't found any apps to do so. Please give me some advice as I will need it to record my lectures.

Download Sound recording app from sony at Play Store. Or any other.

Welcome to the community.

Yes the Xperia Z5 Compact can record sounds, but if there isn't a preinstalled app that performs that function you will want to install one from the Google Play Store. Thanks for your help. Yes, I was checking for the pre- Installed app in the mobile and as it was not there, I was surprised. Thanks, will download the app and do the required.

There's an official Audio Recorder app
