airplane mode doesnt disable mobile data.

i realised on my mobile that once i activate airplane mode with the mobile data on, it doesnt disable the mobile data.

it is still on while the wifi turns off.

if there a way to disable the mobile data automatically with the airplane mode ?

That's odd, data should be disabled while on airplane mode, could you post a screenshot?

i think what he meant was that the icon for Mobile Data is ON even when switched to airplane mode but there wasnt any internet mobile data (ie. no mobile signal).

from what i understood in your problem is that the airplane mode does not switches off (but instead only disabled) the internet mobile data
(and there wasnt any mobile signal) and for wifi it is automatically switched off when change to airplane mode. is that correct?

As far as i know this is an Android limitation and cant make the airplane made to auto off the mobile data,unless there are third party apps that i havent met yet.

exactly. the mobile data icon still on with no mobile signal while the wifi icon gets disabled by itself.

if the mobile data is not working i am ok with that.

Yeah i got ya.

Thats the nature of Android itself and as stated,when you switch to Airplane Mode,the Mobile Data is indeed disabled but not switched OFF.

Hope that clarifies everything!
