Xperia Z1 video calls

HI GUYS,

Just new to the Xperia Z1 and I have already a question. I tried to figure out the way on how to do the video calls. Is there a native support in android or I have to download a app for this?

If you have any information or suggestion, please let me know.

you can not make "native" videocalls, you need a data connection or wifi to make them, you could use Gtalk/hangouts, tango, skype, yahoo, etc

I have a xperia z1(C6903). but there is no way to make a 3g video call. but in skype, I can make it with a data connection. but I can't make it from my phone dial pad.

Hi there,

For that action you have to use apps like Hangouts, Skype etc.

Android does not natively support video calling!

@alexrx android does support native video calling cuz the galaxy s3 supports video calling without the use of 3rd party apps

Actully Android does Support 3g natively, but for some stupid reason Sony choose not to use it.

3g video call is not supported in native android. Therefore most of the android phones does not have 3g video calling capacity. Samsung has implemented 3g call by hardware modification
