Sony XZ3 big problem

I have the Sony xz3 and had it 3 months. However I cannot remember the password. I usually open it with pin code. I have rang virgin up whom I bought it from, they had no idea. This is a new phone and not like the older versions you can buy pass.

any ideas what I can do? Don’t think the year warranty will cover it.

I am disabled and my phone is my life line.

can you help please.

Hello @Derwentrocker,

this is caused by the security of Android/Google and unless you set your phone up accordingly some time before you forget the passcode, you can't bypass this security.

You though can always reset the phone with some button combination.

Then you have to set it up from scratch (or what Google has stored on your account).
