LF-S50G Calling problem

I bought a £200 LF-S50G when I could of just got a Google home for cheaper and can't call people with it. Why hasn't sony added in this feachor. There more expensive and do less things I was thinking of maby getting famly members one as it is a great speaker but I won't unless this problem gets solved. Who agrees.

Hi @Chazza2222, welcome to the community.

The LF-S50G was designed as a quality speaker first and foremost. I have no idea why it wasn't designed to make phone calls, apart from that feature being a fairly recent add-on to other smart speakers. I'm not sure it 'does less things', as it is listed as one of the most feature-rich speakers in online reviews.

As with most things, if you are buying with some particular features in mind, it's worth checking you'll have them before you hand over the money.
