Hi my gran purchased a xperia Xa1 about 6 months ago if that and she as put a pattern screen lock on it when she bought it and there's no Google acount on it.

Is there any way I can hard reset it without using xperia conpanion as I don't have a pc or laptop and it's such a shame it's a brand new phone she paid a lot a money for it to her anyway as she doesn't have much do Sony not a count for these type of mistakes she is 81yrs and it's put her of modern technology and phones all together and yesterday only just decided to tell me bless be grateful for any advice thank you

Unfortunately it would be difficult to reset a device without the Xperia companion. as far as i know, if you made several mistakes with the pattern code, it would ask you to enter your gmail account that you registered the device with and allow you to re configure the pattern.
