Connecting camera to laptop

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me please I have a Sonny RX1000 111 and I am trying to connect by wifi to my new laptop which is using window 11 my new laptop doesn't have a card reader and I am trying to add a new device in settings using a USB cable and add the device to laptop I have after a couple of days of trying got the laptop to now recognise the camera and it is saying registered but the laptop is now asking for the pin number does anyone know what this is or where to find it I'm female and aged 74 so not that savvy on what to do I bought a USB card reader but had no success with that as the laptop didn't find the drive which showed as drive D so hoping someone can help I hate giving up and this will be the third day of trying

Hello @christinewright, have you tried downloading Imaging Edge Desktop from here on your laptop?

The thing is Windows 11 isn't mentioned in the system requirements so it might be a compatibility issue: https://bit.ly/33QbCRc, but you can give it a try!

Thank you for getting back to me but I have now purchased a card reader from Curry's that works as the first one bought from Amazon didn't work hence me trying to connect by wi fi but all sorted earlier today and can now transfer photos from the camera to laptop xx

I mean yeah, using a card reader is another way to do it!
