Hi there

I have a new Sony laptop (Windows 😎 with 60 days free subscription to McAfee. It seems to be allowing pop-ups on most websites. (You know the ones - "lose belly fat in 24 hours" etc!) When I click on the McAfee icon on my desktop there doesn't seem to be anywhere to check if pop-ups are blocked, though I would have thought it was a default option. Has anybody else had this problem? If so, how did they fix it?

Many thanks for any suggestions

Diane

Solved! I'd somehow acquired "Glindorus" and that was causing the pop-ups. I've now uninstalled it and the pop-ups *seem* to have gone. McAfee doesn't seem to have spotted it as a problem program and hignlighted it in it's scans.
