I recently purchased a z3(early january) and its been a great phone.

Last week I left it on my desk and went to sleep. When i woke up two cracks have appeared, one on the front side, rendering the top half of the screen unusable aswell as one running accross the back of the screen.

I have sent it in to sony xperia, but theyve quoted £204 to repair as it was assessed as physical damage. Yet ive had a toughened case around it and its never left my sight, nor has it ever dropped.

Does anyone have any information on what to do.

Ive heard watchdog know about this issue but I dont know how to continue with this, its really sad as I am an avid fan of sony.

My wife experienced the same with her new Z3,,, twice! Sony refuse to admit there is a problem with this telephone but a quick search on the web tells me that this Sony Z3 is pure crap and that Sony will lose a lot of customers due to this *****ty phone. I have had Sony/Ericsson) phones since the early -90`s but now it ends. Samsung has got a new consumer.
