Have you tested them with any different device? As I guess the issue is related to the S23 itself as it seems common with many people here

I pre-ordered a pair of these headphones a few weeks ago and managed to get them two weeks ago. Since owning them I have had problems in regards to pairing and maintaining a stable Bluetooth connection. I installed the latest firmware (according to the Sony headphone app) and did everything as I should. Turned off voice command, turned off auto turn off (or whatever that setting is), yet I am still getting dropouts of Bluetooth where when I am listening to Apple music on my S23 Plus, the headphones disconnect all of a sudden, and then reconnect straight away. The phone is literally right next to me so I am quite a loss for words here.

As an update, I received the replacement pair straight from Amazon a few days ago. I am encountering the same problem with these as the first pair. The connection just cuts randomly and then reconnects very suddenly.

At this point I don't know what to do. I was thinking of getting the XM5s but at this point I am afraid I am going to have similar issues. As a side note, I have Sony WH-C510s, Q30s and some older Sennheiser's that connect and never drop out like these Sony's (using same phone).

I am starting to wonder if it has anything to do with the Sony app itself so right now I am going to uninstall the app, pair the headphones again and see if it happens without the app installed on my phone (will have to make do with default EQ).

Not sure who to contact at this point within Sony to tell them about this.

Hi,

I have the same problem as you have, the headphones are disconnecting and reconnecting all of a sudden and nothing in the settings can stop this. I have a Samsung a71, but on my IPad it's happening as well. Now I can't even hear 2 consecutive songs because after the first one it's disconnecting.

I hope Sony can fix it with a firmware update, because this is just terrible.

I recommend checking this link and try the steps in it as well: https://bit.ly/42yHNND.
And if it's the same, try to initialize the unit and test it once more: https://cutt.ly/56uNoJA.

Hi, I am trying to set my headset up, all I keep getting is add headset, register device over and over and always unsuccessful. I have reset them and I ititalized. Deleted the app and re stored it.

I had originally set them up fine and then I pressed something on the app( can’t remember what and I’m now on the repeat situation.

would you be able to advise please how to get out of this. Many thanks
